Yash Dayal made his IPL debut in 2022 for the Gujarat Titans and the left-arm pacer impressed in his inaugural season by taking 11 wickets in the tournament. The following IPL season wasn't a great one for Yash Dayal as he was punished by Rinku Singh in one of the matches at Ahmedabad. He got smashed for five consecutive sixes by Rinku Singh in the 20th over as KKR won a last-over thriller against the Titans. It was a tough pill to swallow for Dayal. The following year, Yash Dayal represented the Royal Challengers Bengaluru as he claimed 15 wickets and made a strong comeback. One of his most memorable wickets was that of MS Dhoni who was caught at deep backward square leg and CSK failed to qualify for the play-offs as a result of that scalp. With age by his side, if Dayal works on his skills and fitness, he might have a bright future playing in the Indian Premier League.
