Vignesh Puthur is a left arm wrist spinner who many expect could be the surprise commodity of IPL 2025. Hailing from Malappuram in Kerala, Puthur started playing cricket as a 11 year old. He rose up the ranks due to his slightly unorthodox bowling action, and was part of the Alleppey Ripples team in the inaugural season of the Kerala Cricket League. Puthur picked just three wickets in that tournament, but caught the eye of the Mumbai Indians scouts who invited him over for trials. <br/> <br/> Vignesh Puthur is yet to represent Kerala in domestic cricket, but he has bagged an IPL contract before that. He was picked at base price by Mumbai Indians for IPL 2025. <br/>
