He was picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of IPL 2025, but unfortunately, injuries ruled him out of the season, denying him a chance to make an immediate impact for his new franchise. <br/> <br/> Over the years, Umran’s IPL journey has been a story of raw pace, rapid rise, setbacks and resilience; a bowler capable of turning games but still working towards consistency. <br/> <br/> Umran Malik is expected to return as a refreshed and fully fit fast-bowling option for KKR in ahead of IPL 2026.
